You will be asked to fill in a short form giving your details about yourself. Then an initial assessment where the therapists will asses the injury, review the history and determine a treatment plan followed by a first treatment.  This will usually be a 45minutes/1 hour, subsequent appointments will be 45 minutes duration. The number of follow up visits will vary depending on the injury.

Treatment with DEEP OSCILLATION® promotes faster regeneration after training, trauma, overuse injuries and surgeries.

How does treatment with HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® work?
DEEP OSCILLATION® is based on the generation of a pulsed electrostatic field that is created in the body region that needs treatment; the frequency of the electrostatic field varies from 5-250 Hz, depending on the selected indication.

What is the advantage of treatment with HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® ?
In contrast to externally applied, mechanical forms of therapy, the therapeutic effect of DEEP OSCILLATION® occurs in the tissue itself, penetrating the entire tissue. HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® is therefore especially gentle, making it an unmatched treatment option for:

  • fresh trauma
  • postoperative treatment
  • acute pain
  • the area around open wounds
  • persons sensitive to pain
  • female and older clients

How is treatment with HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® applied?
Prior to treatment, the skin of the affected area is dried and powder applied if necessary. During therapy, the patient holds a titanium contact element loosely between his or her fingers. The hand-held applicator is moved in a circular motion over the affected tissue,or the therapist uses his/her hands thereby creating the therapeutic effect of HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION®.

Has HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® been proven effective?
The effect of DEEP OSCILLATION® was demonstrated in several different representative studies. The primary effects are:

  • Pain relief:  the therapy is highly effective in reducing pain and directly promotes pain-free movement.
  • Anti-inflammatory effects: the body’s local immune function against exogenous infections is increased, and the therapy has significant anti-inflammatory effects.
  • Promotes wound healing: a significant improvement in the planimetric and biochemical parameters of wound healing has been observed.
  • Reduction of oedema: local oedema with aseptic inflammation reduces much more quickly. The same is true for swelling around the wound. Even in chronic cases, the treatment helps break up fibroses and hardened tissue.

I have a pacemaker. Can HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® be used on me?
People with pacemakers should never undergo treatment with electrotherapy, since it could lead to dangerous electromagnetic interactions with the pacemaker’s electronic control system.

I am pregnant. Can HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® be used on me?
This type of therapy should not be used during pregnancy, however after delivery of your baby why not spoil yourself as this treatment can then be used.

Do I feel anything during treatment with HIVAMAT DEEP OSCILLATION® massage?
You will feel a pleasant oscillation deep down inside the muscle tissues, soothing and most enjoyable, come and try it for yourself.
